Your statements are hilarious because: Dave Thomson was who hired me, and, I work personally with a lot of the people at Shopware (including Chris Kozell) and they all know what kind of person I am, and what kind of person you are.
I was the only one willing to help you when everyone said to ban you from the forum for your antics which were eventually displayed.
I'm sorry that this is what you still spend your free time on: misinformation. Keep it up champ.

Yes, Mastercam will open native part, assemblies and drawing files from Solidworks. The 1st section of this video shows bringing in a native Solidworks file into Mastercam

How about the major differences in chaining with Mastercam For SolidWorks Vs. stand alone Mastercam?

This video shows a few of them:

http://www.shopwareinc.com/downloads/mc4sw-webi

How about the fact that in Mastercam For SolidWorks the user has fully shaded arrows when creating a WCS and for Chaining vs having to deal with thin, non-shaded, wireframe arrows in stand alone Mastercam that often disappear completely when the part model is rotated. Even when the thin, non-shaded, wireframe arrows don't disappear completely they are often very hard to see!

What is the reason that release after release after release these features are still not available in stand alone Mastercam?

How about the FACT that the Chain Manager appears in the SolidWorks Property Manager rather than blocking the model as it does in stand alone Mastercam?

Why have dialog boxes that block the part model not been moved to the Mastercam Machining Operations Manager by now? How many releases of Mastercam since Mastercam X has this been an annoying problem that hasn't been addressed by CNC Software?

It's just pathetic that the above mentioned are *still issues* after all these years!

In the video link I gave above Chris Kozell of ShopWare says that working at the “design level in SolidWorks saves an exorbitant amount of CAM programming time”

You bet it does compared to stand-alone Mastercam!!!

It's just too bad many of the total losers on the e-Mastercam clique of idiots refuse to say this kind of thing. Remember this is coming from a Mastercam VAR!!!

I love ShopWare and their whole approach to selling and supporting Mastercam! I love that they publish my comments and don't sensor them like a jerk and a liar like Tyler Robinson of Out House Solutions does. Worse, Tyler Robinson then lies about what he does when posting on the independent Mastercam forum and on the Out House Solutions e-Mastercam forum he tries to control. Somebody needs to fire this idiot and bring back Dave Thomson who started the e-Mastercam forum.

I'd appreciate if you would view this video and comment on whether you feel stand-alone Mastercam should offer something like this. I don't think Mastercam For SolidWorks offers this either and I see this as a very helpful tool for saving time while programming parts:
