Thank you for taking the time to read and more so to comment.
I will defiantly consider your suggestion in regards to do a heads up comparison between Esprit vs. Mastercam if I get the opportunity.
My knowledge of Esprit is limited, but from your blog post I defiantly get the impression that Esprit is a serious power CAD/CAM product.
Again, thank you for your comment.

Best regards,
Lars

I think you should focus on how the Auton's technology for five axis machining compares to Mastercam's approach which uses the ModuleWorks software component. Which is more powerful and easier to use?

In the last three days my blog has well over 1000 hits to the Esprit 2008 Vs. Mastercam X4 page because my review was mentioned on the Outhouse Solutions e-Mastercam clique of idiots forum and because it's the kind of review you can't read anywhere else on the web.

What my Esprit 2008 Vs Mastercam review lacks is a direct comparison of Mastercam surfacing toolpath and lathe toolpath to Esprit's because I personally lack the needed skills to make those comparisons. Perhaps you can fill in the gaps that I don't cover using my style of review which cuts through the total bullshit that one reads on the Outhouse Solutions eMastercam forum and just lays the facts on the table.

I think you would be doing many CAM users a favor if you focused on how DP Technology surfacing toolpath compares to Mastercam’s approach which uses the ModuleWorks software component.

In the last three days my blog has well over 1,000 hits to the Esprit 2008 Vs. Mastercam X4 page because my review was mentioned on the Outhouse Solutions e-Mastercam clique of idiots forum by a Mastercam user who knows the truth when he sees it. My review is the kind of CAM review that one unfortunately can’t read anywhere else on the web. : (
